Homemade Chai Latte

Who else is freezing their a** off? Who else also associates autumn/ November/coldness with a delicious … mulled wine? Yes, I’m cold and yes, I’m absolutely thinking about mulled wine right now. However, this post has nothing to do with mulled wine. But with the other hot beverage everyone is thinking of in this cold weather: Chai Latteeeeeeeee. Someone once told me that “chai” translated actually means “tea”. Did not check that. But Starbuck’s “Chai Tea Latte” then would actually be called “tea tea milk”. Well, doesn’t matter anyway. What I’m trying to say is that I love Chai Latte and I need it in my life. I could drink it every day about seven times. I have to admit that from time to time I still crave the taste of meaty foods. So that’s why I tried to find recipes that give me that satisfaction but also are – obivously – cruelty free but just as delicious (if not even better) than „normal“ meat. I’ve come across a lot of amazing vegan recipes and will show you one of my favourites today:

Fettuccine with champignons and pomegranate

Do you know why I love pomegranate so much? Because it tastes awesome ,both in sweet and savory dishes! A shame that you only can get it in autumn and winter time, though. However when its time I always have some at home and need to create as much recipes as I can. But there is also the color that I love, because I always need some variety of colors in my dishes. (Foodblogger things I guess). So who is up for a savory and a bit sweet pasta dish? There you go!
