Fancy a party but don‘t feel like being hit on? Or maybe you don‘t feel the party anyway and just want to stay home with your partner watching movies. In whichever case, I got the perfect dish for you to either eat before entering the party or to chill with your loved one. It‘s essential that your partner also eats this pasta if you choose the second option, because my seafood pasta includes a rather large portion of garlic (and then you both actually have to stay away from civilization to remain in good standing with the rest of society). But hey, it just tastes terrific!
Pasta With Spinach And Shrimps
Dear pasta lovers! As you may have already noticed, we are big in the pasta game and none of us really can resist this deliciousness. We basically could eat pasta everyday. This recipe‘s for the seafood lovers amongst you guys: spinach and shrimp pasta.
Tortellini With Tomato Sauce
Ina is looking for a delicious childhood memory for her #letscooktogehter campaign this month. After our mum didn‘t really conjure up particularly fancy dishes and it was mostly about rice or pasta combinations, I have reinterpreted one of these classic recipes a little bit. Boring pasta with tomato sauce transformed into delicious tortellini with tomato sauce, Mediterranean herbs and – of course – cheese.
Italian Basil Pasta
Do you love the smell of fresh basil just as much as I do? In my opinion, there’s almost nothing better than walking into the kitchen and be welcomed by a pleasant basil scent. (Except the smell of coffee maybe …). So last time in the supermarket I walked by these fresh basil pots and just had to grab one. And because I’m a food blogger, of course I documented what I made out of it for you guys: a fresh Italian basil pasta with dried tomatoes. For me dried tomatoes and basil are somehow the epitome of Italy (and red wine) and on a dark winter’s day I really felt like it wouldn’t be a bad idea to daydream myself to Italy right now by creating this lovely dish. It’s a really quickly made one again and the icing on the cake: it’s vegan too!
Savoy Cabbage & Spinach Pasta With Walnuts
I usually cook with plenty of zucchini or mushrooms. In the same way I actually eat a huge bowl of salad a day by default. But having no variation pretty much sucks in the long run so once in a while I decide to add different, “fancier” ingredients to my daily diet. So – feeling adventurous – for this dish I included savoy cabbage, which I honestly have never used in any of my other recipes before. Since I love (and am) nuts anyway (haha) I also added walnuts to this creation and voilá – the savoy cabbage and spinach pasta with walnuts was invented!
About Ina
Oh, hi there!
Time to introduce myself I guess? My name is Ina and I’m the oldest of us three sisters. I developed my love for blogging back in 2015 and that’s why I decided to create one myself. I put a lot of hard work into my baby and really enjoyed walking this new path. The blog started to gain more and more followers which obviously made me super happy but also kinda turned into a problem, because the more people who read your blog, the more you want to be professional about it, create valuable content and maintain a good relationship with your followers. My main profession is being a teacher for biology and chemistry which obviously is a full time job. Also I’m married to my wonderful husband who also wanted my attention. That was when I started to realize that I couldn’t put as much effort in the blog as I actually wanted to. So that’s why I decided to ask my two sisters if they wanted to join me in this adventure – which luckily they did. And that was when applethree.de was founded.
Vegan Banana Bread
Howdy geezers! As the title leads us to the suspect, this post will be about banana bread at some point. About vegan banana bread. But first things first: this post also is an attempt to translate my original (German) one into English. The emphasis here, folks, is on attempt. As you (should!) know, Ina, Anja and I are proper Germans so just in case you’re no Sherlock: English isn’t our mother tongue. You’re probably thinking “hey, can’t be that hard – just use google translator”! Well, yeah, but…
