This meal is actually one of my all time favorites, but never made it up the blog…till now! I can’t really tell you why I’ve waited so long to share this with you, because holy moly this recipe is just delicious. But here we are! I usually eat this beauty with feta, but if you want this recipe to be suitable for vegans, just try my sister’s vegan cheese alternative. Please feel free to try it out, you won’t regret it!
vegan Kladdkaka
One of my favorite cakes here in Sweden is probably the so called “Kladdkaka” and means something like sticky cake, because its super soft and luscious. You almost can get it at every Cafe and Fika place, because every Swede just loves this chocolate cake. The good thing: You can easily make it by yourself, doesn’t take long and the best; it doesn’t need a lot of ingredients. And all over those advantages this beauty is vegan.
About Anja
When my sister Ina started this blog in 2015 I obviously was super excited for her. I didn’t really know too much about blogging but what I knew is that I read all of her posts with joy. Since the blog went so well, Ina thought she maybe could use some help to manage it properly – she simply didn’t have enough free time besides being a full time teacher to put the effort in the blog that it deserved. So being smart as she is, one day in march 2016 Ina came along with the proposal to continue the blog with both of her sisters. The work would get divided into three parts – perfect. And of course – just like Sanny – I wanted to be part of this experience.
Let’s talk about agave syrup
Hey hey my loves! So today I’m gonna do another “behind the scenes” look at a particular food: the – in my opinion – heavenly agave syrup. ‘Why are you doing that?’ you ask? Quite simply, because I’ve been using this stuff for about a few weeks in almost every meal I’ve had. I just think it’s SO good. But in the light of the fact that I have to buy this sweetener so often because it’s about to run out after about three days of purchase, the question somehow germinated in me, if this product is good for me at all. Therefore: Sanny does some research. And because I’m doing that anyway, I thought I might share my findings with you guys…my pleasure!
Vegan Macadamia Pancakes
In my opinion you can never go wrong with pancakes. Whether in the morning or as a lunch, pancakes are on my plate regularly. Unfortunately, these delicious portions are often not very vegan- and figure-friendly, as they often contain a lot of sugar and white flour. But of course I experimented a bit around to show you this nice recipe. It’s vegan and only sweetened with xylitol (What’s that?). In addition, I used my favorite nuts in the world to create this beauty.
“What the Pitta!” – Restaurant Review
Guuuuuuuys! I’m absolutely hooked right now! ‘Why is that again, Sanny?’ you might ask yourself? Well, because with this post I’m actually writing my very first restaurant review! Yay! Well, and also the fact that I’m drinking Monster Energy probably also adds a bit to my current hyperactivity haha. But what really makes me happy is the fact that this “restaurant” which I’m gonna write about is my absolute favorite place for vegan food. So, spoiler alert: my first restaurant review will contain a lot of love and praise.
Red Lentil Pasta
Today I show you my favorite product of the week! Red lentils pasta with a quick recipe. The pasta has done it to me somehow and the recipe has really been cooked several times now.
