Finally we can present you our first breakfast recipe on our English page – wohoo! Well, obviously you can eat this berry sauce pancake at any time of the day (and night), but I prefer eating it for breakfast. Incidentally, the good pieces are vegan and hard to beat in terms of speed in the preparation. I guess that’s worth another “wohoo”! 🙂
vegan bulgursalad to go
vegan, healthy, fast lunch and also delicious? Sounds difficult? I promise you, not with this recipe! This lovely Bulgur salad is awesome for your lunch break, because it is so easy to take with you! If you don’t have all of the ingredients at home, don’t worry. You can replace some ingredients or even add some if you feel like it so you always have a variation.
vegan swedish chokladbollar
What are your first thoughts when you hear Sweden? I usually think of beautiful nature, scandinavian style and lots of coffee. However, swedes usually are not missing out the sweets to their coffee and having their traditional fika. What fika is? Its actually just a really nice word for having coffee with friends, colleagues or family and usually having snacks beside it. One of the famous sweets are Kanelbullar and Chokoladbollar, which are super easy to prepare and are also suitable for a vegan diet! So if you want to be a part of swedish tradition, you should definitely start cooking now!
Rocket-Persimmon-Salad with Vegan “Goats”-Cheese
Loveliest vegan friends! As you probably can already imagine, in a second I’ll show you a vegan dish cooked – or rather whipped up – by me. You probably already had suspected that regarding the title and/or the post’s picture. Oh well, I’ve just extra articulated again then for you 😉
I came across this dish when I was looking for inspiration for my recipe of vegan cashew whipped cream (coming soon!). As soon as you are on any recipe pages, somewhere there are always popping up these other recipes, like next to/under/on top of the actual recipe, which apparently could be of your interest. And they are always right…oh I wonder how they know me so well 😉 ! What immediately caught my attention was this vegan salad with persimmons, rocket and feta cheese. Obviously I clicked on it aaaaaaand here we are – my mouth was watering. The problem with the whole story: the recipe was with Indian cucumbers (has anyone ever seen that before?) and feta cheese (dairy – ugh!) and – in my assessment – it also was a little bit boring. But I wouldn’t be a food blogger if that wasn’t the perfect template for a new vegan salad creation à la Sanny, would I? You can see my version of this great salad right here:
Homemade Chai Latte
Who else is freezing their a** off? Who else also associates autumn/ November/coldness with a delicious … mulled wine? Yes, I’m cold and yes, I’m absolutely thinking about mulled wine right now. However, this post has nothing to do with mulled wine. But with the other hot beverage everyone is thinking of in this cold weather: Chai Latteeeeeeeee. Someone once told me that “chai” translated actually means “tea”. Did not check that. But Starbuck’s “Chai Tea Latte” then would actually be called “tea tea milk”. Well, doesn’t matter anyway. What I’m trying to say is that I love Chai Latte and I need it in my life. I could drink it every day about seven times. This becomes a problem in reality: currently I would have to spend 21,70 £ to get a Grande Chai Latte seven times a day at Starbucks. Not exactly the money I have. So, I then – since I’m a super smart person – thought to myself: I might just make my own Chai Latte! Yay!
Kewei’s Kitchen Copenhagen
The first thing I do after arriving at a new location? Checkíng out the food scene! Copenhagen is still one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to and it enchants me again and again. That’s why it’s not uncommon that i travel from the “little” Malmö to Copenhagen to explore as much as i can! Therefore the invitation von kewei was a great opportunity to enjoy copenhagen and authentic chinese food! Now I will tell you more about Keweis Concept, about my lovely evening in Copenhagen and especially where you can find her!
